ENGLISH COCKER SPANIEL CLUB of CANADA
There were actually 12 ECS slated for the photo but one was in heat (8 of the ECS are intact males) and the other pup was doing "crazy 8's" on the lawn so we gave up trying to pose her. I thought the idea of so many good temperaments on display was fun.
We flew up, rented a car and traveled all over the place. On the last night there, Jim Bern, Lisa's husband (they have ECS) flew us in his Cessna from 9 until midnight up the coast to count bears and look at glaciers. Phenomenal experience. No one will probably believe us but we counted 168 grizzlies. Are they ever big! Good thing it was our last day because I don't think we'd have gone hiking with our dogs if we'd know about the infestation earlier in our trip.
My girl, Emmyblu, (AM CAN Ch Sumdei Blues )finished her AM CH at the Anchorage show with a 5 pt major and Robin Farrage (ECSCC member) got Best in Show with her Conner (MBIS Am Can Ch. Indigos Never Say Never).
There were 17 ECS entered so WB, BOW and BOS was a wonderful win for Em and the BIS win for Conner was a very popular one for the crowd present.
